What You'll Do
As a Community Outreach Representative, you'll connect directly with members of the public and help nonprofit organizations expand awareness and community support.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Represent nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations at community events, fundraising campaigns, and outreach locations
- Have friendly, informative face-to-face conversations with members of the public
- Educate community members about nonprofit missions, programs, and important social causes
- Encourage donations, volunteer participation, and community involvement
- Answer questions and provide accurate information about campaigns and organizations
- Assist with event setup, outreach booths, promotional materials, and on-site activities
- Track supporter interactions, contributions, and campaign engagement
- Work collaboratively with an energetic community outreach team to achieve campaign goals
- Maintain a professional, positive, and welcoming presence at all events
