Position Overview

As an Entry-Level Event Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced event professionals to help organize, coordinate, and execute community events and fundraising campaigns that support nonprofit organizations and charitable causes. You'll play an important role in creating engaging experiences for attendees, volunteers, donors, and community partners while developing valuable professional skills.

This position provides hands-on experience in event coordination, nonprofit marketing, fundraising, volunteer management, customer service, communications, public relations, and community engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing charity events, fundraising campaigns, and community outreach programs.
  • Support event setup, registration, logistics, promotional displays, event operations, and breakdown.
  • Welcome and engage attendees, donors, volunteers, and community members with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Help coordinate volunteer schedules, event activities, and onsite event flow.
  • Educate attendees about nonprofit missions, fundraising initiatives, and community programs.
  • Assist with guest registration, check-in, donation processing, and event materials.
  • Track attendance, participant engagement, and campaign results.
  • Gather attendee feedback to help improve future events and outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and team members to ensure successful event execution.
  • Participate in paid training focused on event planning, fundraising, customer engagement, nonprofit outreach, leadership development, and communication.
  • Represent nonprofit partners and client organizations with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications
